She was born in Didimotiho, Evros, Greece. She took her first painting lessons in her adolescence from the sculptor Nikos Stavrou.

She also attended freehand and linear drawing classes at the Tutoring School of Mr. Zacharakis.

Briefly:

• 1986-1987: Tutorial at the workshop of Plaka, with Professor Anna Maria Christopoulou
• 1987-1989: Attendance of her work by Professor Ilias Dekoulakos
• 1988-1989: Tutoring in the workshop of Nikos Stefos
• 1989-1994: She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she graduated in June 1994 with honors. During her studies, she attended painting classes with Professor Chronis Botsoglou, mosaic with Professor Ioannis Valavanidis, and hagiography with Professor Konstantinos Xynopoulos.
