She was born in Athens in 1926.

From 1950 to 1954, she studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Professor Michalis Tombros. She later moved to Japan, where she lived and worked in Kamakura, training at the renowned studios of R. Yamaguchi and T. Hirano. There, she specialized in ceramics, melanography, Sumi-e ink wash painting, and the art of origami.

Her first solo exhibition took place in Athens in 1964, followed by five more in Athens, as well as solo shows in Boston, Washington D.C., and other locations. Since 1960, she participated in seven Panhellenic exhibitions, all group exhibitions organized by the Greek Sculptors Association, and numerous group shows abroad, including in Cyprus, the United States, and France.

Her sculptures are held in major institutions such as the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy; the Hudson Collections in Washington D.C.; the Vorres Museum of Contemporary Art; the Yokosuka Collection in Japan; the Pierridis Gallery; the Kotopoulis Museum (Ionannidis Collection); the Museum of Cycladic Art; the Delphi Gallery; various public art galleries and municipal collections, as well as many private collections in Greece and abroad.

Her public artworks include installations at Paleo Faliro beach, the Sainopoulio Park in Sparta, the State Hospital of Sparta, the Monument of the Fallen-on Kythira Island, the Diplarakos Gallery in Paleo Faliro, the Library of CYU in Neo Faliro, and the Town Hall of Paleo Faliro. More than 20 of her medal designs have been released in Greece and internationally.

She also created jewelry, which was exhibited at the Ministry of Culture’s Jewelry Fair in Thessaloniki.

A member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece since 1966, she served for many years on classification and selection committees, as well as the Sculpture Department Council. She also represented the Chamber on the juries of numerous artistic competitions.

She passed away in 2018.
