She creates visual compositions through painting, miniature sculpture, and mixed media techniques — a personal visual language that seeks to meet the viewer’s gaze and spark a silent dialogue between image and emotion.
She studied painting under the guidance of painter T. Batinakis and has participated in group exhibitions, while her works are held in private collections. She lives and works in Athens.
This particular body of work was born out of her deep admiration for ancient Greek ceramic art. In these ancient scenes, people converse with their gods, compete in athletic games, drop their swords before the beauty of Helen, dance and drink — not to forget the ephemerality of their world, but to immerse themselves in it and understand it.
Her compositions primarily use paper and thread. Paper, like clay, holds paradoxical qualities — fragile yet enduring, forceful yet delicate. Thread, from its primal function, dresses the figures and reveals their folds and textures.
