Born 1968, Athens, Greece.
- Maria Kokkini was born in Athens in1968.She studied Maths in the Univercity of Patras.
- Her artistic activity began as a jewelry designer and creator collaborating professionally with many jewelry workshops.
- In 2001 she starts her painting career introducing an original technique on wood using tempera and mixed materials.
- Maria Kokkini is a self-taught painter. She has participated in many group exhibitions and she has performed 13 solo.
- Many of her paintings are part of private collections.
Her work can be found in the Municipal Gallery of Alexandroupolis, ”Lefakis Galleries” and ”Michalarias Galleries” in Athens, ”Famagusta Gallery” Larnaca, Cyprus, ”Galateca Gallery” Bucharest, Romania and ”Plus Art Gallery” in Gialova Messinias.
