He is a sculptor with a deep connection to the Greek sculptural tradition and a particular specialization in the contemporary interpretation of classical forms.
He grew up in a family-run workshop that focused on faithful museum reproductions and casts made from plaster, clay, and synthetic alabaster. His daily exposure to molds and the reproduction techniques of antiquity initiated him early into the technical and aesthetic world of sculpture. He continued to develop his expertise through seminars at the Athens School of Fine Arts, while his artistic identity was shaped by influences such as Jackson Pollock, the pop art movement, and the aesthetics of street art.
In his work, archaic forms and Cycladic lines are transformed through color, expressive gestures, and a contemporary style, creating a dialogue between past and present. He mainly works with synthetic alabaster, and each piece bears the unique character of a handcrafted artifact.
His works have been presented in group exhibitions in galleries in Athens and on the Greek islands, and they are part of private collections in Europe and the United States.
In 2019, he co-organized the exhibition “The Story of a Statue” in collaboration with the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 2025, he organized the workshop “Carving the Story of My Life” at SOS Children’s Villages in Kalamata. He has participated in exhibitions in Greece as well as in international shows in France, Germany, Cyprus, Lebanon, and Dubai.
