Plus Art Gallery proudly presents “Interaction”, a solo exhibition by acclaimed Greek painter Vasilis Vagiannis, on view from April 2 to April 16, 2026, at the gallery’s space on the Pedestrian street of Gialova.

Curatorial Note

Communication through art constitutes a higher form of exchange of meanings, emotions, and values—one that transcends linguistic and geographical boundaries, functioning as a “universal language.” It enables the expression of complex and abstract ideas that are often difficult to articulate verbally, acting as a “mirror” of the viewer’s inner thoughts.

When this form of communication is combined with the transmission of culture, it becomes a powerful vehicle for preserving collective memory and fostering intercultural understanding.

For Vasilis Vagiannis, painting is not merely an art form, but a way of being. Each work is a confession. Perhaps this is why his paintings evoke such intense emotional responses: colors that “collide,” shadows that soften, faces that turn inward. His is a deeply introspective art, free from superficial impressions

About the Artist
